I'm New Here...

Visiting any church for the very first time can be a somewhat intimidating experience. Well, we want to put you at ease. Your first visit to SVBC will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. You can expect to be welcomed into a friendly environment by people who are genuinely excited to see you. Arrive a few minutes early to enjoy a hot cup of coffee and a snack.

What Can I Expect The Service To Be Like?

After you receive your cup of coffee, feel free to enter the worship service or to sign in your children to the nursery or Children's Church. When the service begins we invite you to join with us as we worship God through song. We work hard at making the emphasis of our worship service about our praise and thankfulness to God, and not about a performance. After a time of corporate worship, we turn the focus of the service to the preaching. Careful, clear, and direct Bible preaching is the goal for every service. We believe that you will leave each service with practical Bible principles that will equip you to face life’s challenges.

At the close of each message we take time for quiet reflection and prayer about the message, and how we can apply what we just learned to our daily lives.
